FAQ

Is this a freelance job?

No. These are full-time roles with structured pay, long-term growth opportunities, and benefits that begin after six months. Crew is not a gig platform — it’s a career accelerator.

Will I be working for Crew or another company?

Crew will be your official employer. We train and support you, then place you with a U.S.-based company that fits your strengths and goals.

Do I need prior work experience to apply?

No. We welcome new graduates and early-career professionals. What matters most is your work ethic, communication skills, and growth mindset.

What kind of companies will I work with?

You’ll be matched with vetted, growing startups and small to mid-sized businesses in the U.S. Clients span industries like tech, eCommerce, education, and healthcare — all looking for skilled marketing talent.

What’s the pay like?

Crew offers competitive compensation that’s higher than most entry-level jobs in the Philippines. Pay depends on your client and role.

Note: Benefits like health insurance, SSS, and 13th-month pay begin after 6 months of tenure.

Is there room to grow in this job?

Absolutely. Many Crew members receive promotions, raises, and greater responsibilities. We also provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and skill-building opportunities.

What equipment or setup do I need?

You must have:

  • A functioning laptop with a working camera
  • Good-quality headphones with a built-in microphone
  • A reliable internet connection(Crew will subsidize this)
  • A clean, quiet workspace free from distractions during client calls

How do I apply?

Click the “Apply Now” button and complete the short form — including a brief video introduction. We’ll take it from there.

What makes a strong applicant?

We look for excellent English communication, professionalism, attention to detail, and a hunger to learn. No marketing experience required — we’ll teach you what you need.

Can I apply again if I wasn’t selected the first time?

Yes — and we encourage it! Sometimes it’s just about timing. You’re welcome to reapply after 60 days.

What does “paid training” mean?

If you’re accepted, you’ll undergo a short but intensive training program designed by real U.S. marketers. It includes hands-on exercises, live tools, and mentorship — and you’ll be paid for your time.

How long does the training process take?

Most Crew members complete basic training within a week, depending on their pace and availability.

What happens if I don’t pass the training?

We’ll give you honest, helpful feedback. If you don’t pass, we encourage you to reapply once you’ve improved the necessary skills.

How long before I get matched with a client?

Most Crew members are placed within 1–4 weeks after completing training. We prioritize quality, not speed, to ensure the best fit.

Do I get to choose which company I work for?

We consider your preferences, personality, and skills when matching you. You’ll learn about the company before final placement — and move forward only if it’s a mutual fit.

What are the work hours?

Most U.S. clients operate on U.S. business hours — which means many roles follow a night shift in the Philippines. You’ll be informed about the schedule before being placed.

Can I work from home?

Yes! Most roles are remote. We are working on creating an in-office option for those who prefer a structured workplace.

Is Crew open to applicants outside Metro Manila?

Yes. We accept applicants from across the Philippines. As long as you have the required equipment and a distraction-free environment, you’re good to go.
